If the defendant wishes to contest the claim made by the plaintiff, this must be substantiated. This means, in principle, that the defendant must contest, in detail, the statements made by the plaintiff in the plaintiff’s submitted claim.
In principal, an across-the-board denial is inadequate for the successful defence of a claim.
